3-K and Pre-K at The Edward Bush School of Leadership

At PS 18, we work hard to create a warm and inclusive environment where every child feels safe, confident, and connected from the start. Our 3-K program uses the NYC Bright Starts and Creative Curriculum to give young learners many chances to explore, ask questions, and grow through play. Students spend time in our large outdoor space two times each day, where they can run, play, and learn about nature while building important social-emotional skills.

During the year, children take part in hands-on Areas of Study such as Balls, Trees, Clothes, Reduce Reuse Recycle, Buildings, Wheels, Exercise, and Water. These studies help them understand how the world works. Families choose PS 18 because we offer a strong beginning for every child, with personalized support, caring relationships, and a school community that values each student.
